For several years we have been participating in the protection of biodiversity through an association located in central Africa which aspires to save chimpanzees. Hunting is one of the main causes for the extinction of chimpanzees, as it tends to supply the bushmeat markets and to maintain the trade of live animals.
Unfortunately the first victims of this poaching are the babies who end up captured and sentenced to a certain death. The association salvages them, gives them proper treatment, educates them and releases them afterwards in a protected sanctuary.
